First-year students (CAP and Master’s level) benefited from two days of exploring artistic techniques, from the most traditional to the most contemporary, with the following on the agenda:

• Discovery of the diversity of materials (pigments, fillers, colorants)
• Analysis of the evolution of techniques (from ancient recipes to industrial paint)
• Learning to identify the risks and vulnerabilities of artworks

A journey through time and matter, from primitive arts to contemporary art, which allowed them to deepen their knowledge and sharpen their critical eye, enabling them to better understand and protect artworks.
