Moviiu serves both individuals and businesses, whether they are self-employed workers or e-commerce platforms. The sites are located in Germany, France, and Switzerland, allowing for worldwide shipping at a lower cost.

What can I ship with Moviiu?
Whether it’s paintings, sculptures, books, or jewelry, Moviiu specializes in the secure and rapid transport of artworks, antiques, design objects, and valuables. Paintings and prints can be transported up to a size of 180 x 147 x 25 cm; objects and sculptures can have a maximum size of 104 x 60 x 57 cm. For larger dimensions, Moviiu can provide a customized quote with its various partners.

How does Moviiu’s all-inclusive art transport solution work?
Moviiu is simple and easy. All Moviiu needs to quickly calculate an offer are the pickup and delivery addresses, the dimensions, and the weight of your object. The offer includes packaging, handling, insurance, and transport. After payment, Moviiu sends a custom packaging containing all the shipping labels and, for international shipments, the necessary export certificates. You place your artwork or object in the box, seal it, and the shipment is ready for transport. You then choose a pickup time for the shipment via the website or by phone, and within 3 to 10 days, the package is ready for delivery. The Moviiu tracking system keeps you informed of your delivery status.
For all clients who prefer it, Moviiu can also organize dedicated collections and retrieve your unpackaged works, and take care of everything else.
Is your artwork already packaged for transport? That is also possible! You can then quickly get a transport quote on the website. In this case, you only need to purchase insurance yourself.

How is my artwork packaged for transport?
Moviiu packaging is precisely tailored to your artworks and valuables. With experts, Moviiu has developed triple-thickness reinforced cardboard packaging lined with recyclable foam. This guarantees optimal protection against shocks and vibrations for your objects and artworks. You place your object in the box and seal the packaging; no additional packing material is needed. When will my artwork be delivered?
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country. In general, shipments take 7 to 12 business days door-to-door.

Who transports my artworks?
Moviiu collaborates with 16 sister companies in art logistics, operating in 11 countries across 5 continents, including art transporters such as Knab Art Handling, Chenue, LP Art, Sendsio, Natural Le Coultre, Rodolphe Haller SA, Helutrans, Denbigh, Art Quality, or GSS. Courier services, such as DHL Express, UPS, and FedEx, handle a significant share of deliveries, ensuring efficient, low-cost service.

How is my artwork insured during transport?
At Moviiu, artworks are insured against all types of risks up to a value of €100,000, and jewelry up to a value of €10,000, with the condition that Moviiu packaging is used. Unlike pure courier services, the insurance covers the full insured value in case of damage or loss. For higher values or particularly fragile objects, Moviiu can provide you with an individual quote with the help of its sister companies. You can add optional transport insurance when creating your quote.

How does customs clearance work?
Moviiu’s providers handle all customs operations. Moviiu collects the necessary documents and acts as the liaison to ensure smooth transport. For certain documents, Moviiu can also assist you with formalities. Customs duties and any taxes are not included in the quote. The shipping partner will contact you directly to inform you of the amount of the duties. Once import duties are paid, the package will be delivered, and the recipient will be informed of the delivery date.
