Aspects of Preventive Conservation II \u2013 Packaging of Artistic and Cultural Goods <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d organized by the Verband der Restauratoren (VDR) at HTW Berlin, in order to present the project&#8217;s progress.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-192743\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The ambition :<\/strong> to re-evaluate and develop the use of cardboard for the storage and transport of collection items, in order to propose solutions that are more responsible, lighter, and adapted to the constraints of preventive conservation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-192743\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This work is based on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"font-192743\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A <strong>large survey <\/strong>of heritage professionals<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"font-192743\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> An <strong>interdisciplinary collaboration<\/strong> between cultural institutions, scientists, transport companies, and cardboard manufacturers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"font-192743\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> An <strong>experimental approach<\/strong> to evaluate the performance of cardboard in real-world conditions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"font-192743\">This AAP (Call for Projects), funded by the Government as part of France 2030 and designed in conjunction with the General Secretariat for Investment and the Ministry of Culture, is operated by the Banque des Territoires (Caisse des D\u00e9p\u00f4ts Group) on behalf of the State.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The consortium was present at the colloquium \u201cIn Sack und T\u00fcten!?
